Copyright

Ownership of a painting does not in itself, give any right to reproduce it in any form, in whole or part. It is normal Industry practice and International Law for such copyright to remain with the artist. Copyright of all images will remain with Belami Art, unless specifically agreed in writing, by Belami Art.

The purchaser agrees to indemnify Belami Art in the event of any, unauthorized reproduction of a painting, arising from its possession.

Ownership:

Ownership of the painting remains with Belami Art, until full payment has been received, whereupon ownership passes to the Purchaser.

Shipping:

Paintings will be dispatched within five working days of receipt of full payment, and the Purchaser will be simultaneously notified of dispatch along with an expected date of delivery. Shipment is normally by courier, or International EMS, with paintings being fully insured. Paintings may be shipped either flat, on their wooden frames, or when requested, rolled in tubular containers. All risks therefore remain with Belami Art and its agents, until paintings are delivered.

Notwithstanding the above, Belami Art accepts no responsibility for non-delivery of Paintings, unless the Purchaser notifies Belami Art, and the respective carrier, within seven days of the expected delivery time advised, in the notice of dispatch.

Export / import restrictions:

It is Purchaser’s responsibility to determine any import restrictions that may apply within his destination country, pertaining to the specific Painting being purchased, before placing an order with Belami Art. Belami Art cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for Paintings confiscated within the country of delivery and not returned intact to Belami Art.

Cancellations:

The Purchaser may cancel the order at any time, prior to shipment, for a full refund without charge, other than any payment processing costs.

Damaged Paintings:

Paintings must be fully inspected, immediately upon delivery, and any loss or damage noted on the carrier's delivery documents at the time of signing for Paintings. If Paintings are accepted without inspection, this must be stated on the carrier's delivery documents at the time of signing for Paintings. The Purchaser must notify Belami Art, and the carrier, of any loss or damage to Paintings, in writing, within three days of receipt of Paintings. Belami Art will either remedy all damages without cost to the Purchaser, provide an alternative replacement Painting (with a credit payment or at an additional charge for the balance if the value differs from that of the original) or, credit the Purchaser in full, entirely at the Purchaser’s discretion.

Warranty:

Belami Art will repair, replace or give credit, at the sole discretion of Belami Art, any Painting that is defective in design, workmanship or material within one year following receipt of the Painting by the Purchaser. Any replacement or rectification work will be covered by a further one year warranty.

Privacy policy:

Any information given to Belami Art by Purchasers or potential Purchasers in the course of enquiry, or purchase, will remain strictly confidential and will only be used by Belami Art to facilitate the completion of any purchase. Belami Art will not disclose information to any third party.
