A Moreau commissioned painting of your loved one, reflects your appreciation of that love and will be a permanent reminder of the joy your partner brings to your life. All of us have our own inner beauty and individual qualities; a Moreau painting  captures these nuances forever and preserves the intimate splendour of your own, or partner’s exquisite beauty.

The subject of your painting can be whatever you wish, i.e. demure, part nude, fully nude, erotic, sexy, seductive or tantalizing. There are no limitations. Please bear in mind that all art is subjective, and some artistic license must be given and will be used in the creation of your painting.
 

  Paintings are sometimes purchased as a Secret Gift for special occasions like  Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas and other special occasions, or, as a chance to realise a long held dream. It gives the recipient great pleasure in receiving a beautiful and lasting painting and also serves to demonstrate the donor’s love, in the giving of the painting.

Commissioned works are individually priced, taking account of the amount of detail and size of the painting, commensurate with the pricing of other paintings on this web site. You should allow 4 to six weeks for the delivery of your painting, subject also to workload. An approximate delivery date is given with each quotation. One nude subject per painting. For additional nude subject, 50% will be added to the single nude price. A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total price is required upon placement of the order, and the balance payment is required prior to shipment, of your painting. All prices include shipping costs. Please advise:

1. Your preferred format;  Classic or Posterised, and size, on which there is no restriction - within reason! Your painting will be created with Oils - please state if you would prefer your painting, on canvas, or on board

 2. Advise the desired time scale, especially if a fixed delivery date is essential.

3. Provide several good quality photographs with high resolution, to include close up shots of the head and any other areas you may wish to highlight. Please see “Tips” below.

4. Note that all information, images etc. sent by you will be held strictly confidential and in absolute privacy. Images will only be used within the web site or for marketing purposes with your written consent. Certain displayed artworks on the web site are commissions.

When your painting is completed, it will be photographed and the photograph will be sent to you, either by e-mail or post, as you request, for your final approval. Once you have confirmed that you are happy with the finished piece and the balance of payment has been received, it will be forwarded, to you, by courier.

Please note, that Original paintings are not normally forwarded framed, however, Belami Art will be pleased to provide this service if you require it, on your specific instructions.

“Tips for Photo Submissions”

When a nude piece is to be commissioned,  full-body photos will be required. These  should reflect the unique beauty that is held by the particular subject

Small images - do not allow an adequate level of detail to be reproduced. Try to fill the frame with the subject. If using a digital camera, set it to the highest possible resolution.

Posing - Try to use daylight as much as possible. Be conscious of positioning. Uncomfortable poses - can be very unflattering to the subject. Watch for things like lines on necks and stomachs. Make sure hands have something to do, or somewhere natural to rest.

Clothing - Do you want your subject to be totally nude, partially nude, wearing sexy underwear, demure lingerie, or a daring outfit? Think about both what you personally would like but also consider what the subject would most like also. 

Expression - How do you want your subject  portrayed? Sensual, provocative, erotic, coyly innocent, angelic, or quiet beauty? With a smile? Pouting? Or Moody??  

Scene -  this can enhance the intimacy of a painting, so set the scene to reflect what you want. If you prefer, your subject can be painted with no background at all. In some cases, this really makes the subject stand out. A beautiful nude, painted on a plain dark coloured background, hung on a light coloured wall, creates a stunning effect.


Commissioning a Moreau Original Nude is a decision that needs careful consideration, and should not be an impulse purchase. Your finished painting will be with you for a very long time, so a little time spent now, will be rewarded in a painting that truly reflects your desires and the beauty of your subject.
